Colds & Flu: Winter Woes

As we enter the last few weeks of fall and await the first snowfall of our upcoming winter season, many of us begin feeling the onset of the winter blues, otherwise known as Seasonal Affective Disorder.  Aside from the blues, many of us will experience another of winter's woes, a cold or flu, leaving us feeling tired, achy, drained of all energy, not to mention, stuffed up, sneezy, wheezy and perhaps needing some much needed relief from bouts of coughing.

As an Independent Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils, I have learned so much in regards to how we can prevent, combat and lessen the effects of the signs & symptoms of the common cold and flu, simply by using these amazing products.  As 100% natural, therapeutic-grade oils, they are safe to use topically, internally and via inhalation/diffusing methods.  I have found that the THIEVES oil is one that works wonderfully in the fighting of germs in the air in our home, as well as using it on the soles of our feet before heading off to work and school as another way to strengthen our immunity against germs.  The following is from the Young Living Website regarding Thieves Essential Oil Blend:
